Born in London and educated in Paris, Henry Cumberlege is a self-taught jewellery designer and the founder of Tigers and Dragons a small jewellery company that creates handcrafted contemporary luxury jewellery inspired by Eastern philosophy and symbols.

He worked in Europe for international firms for 15 years before migrating to Asia where he was influenced by the strong contrast of cultures.

However, it is the wasteful and ever more complex world we live in characterized by the excess we experience every day in urban environments through overconsumption, permanent distraction and an over supply of digital information that inspired him to create minimal and stylish objects with a story to tell focused on essence reminding us of what truly matters.
