The up-and-coming label ANNE GORKE was founded in 2012 by designer Anne Gorke. She was born in Weimar, (Germany) in 1982 and earned a Bachelor's degree in media culture from the University of Bauhaus (Weimar). After working in the customer and retail service department of fashion retailer Franklin&Marshall at their branch in Verona, Italy, until 2003, Anne Gorke decided to tackle her dream of launching an own label.

A series of successful exhibitions at trade fairs and fashion shows in Germany and Austria with different collections from 2004 to 2011 followed and lead up to the the foundation of the label ANNE GORKE in 2012 , together with Marketing expert Miriam Weihermüller.

What distinguishes ANNE GORKE from other brands is definitely its ecological spirit: Working exclusively with organic textiles does not only ensure fair conditions, but also meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, entirely made in Germany. Based in Weimar, where the world-famous Bauhaus architectural style originates from and where it`s spirit is still apparent, ANNE GORKE's designs are inspired by this rich cultural heritage and feature clear architectural lines and sleek elegance with a soft touch of femininity.
